Students:
- use
specified design criteria to compare and contrast four proposed
software solutions for a control problem.
- describe
the advantages and disadvantages of control solutions that
use an open-loop system (without feedback)
and alternative
closed-loop systems (with feedback).
- apply
concepts of position, distance, direction, and speed in the
solution of a realistically
complex problem.
- interpret
graphical data and formulate a recommendation
The
activity uses the SAM
Robot and a motion detector with the LabPro or
the original CBL. (Since this activity requires 2 digital
ports, it does not work
with the CBL2.)
