Students:
- Explain
how photon energy is related to color and wavelength
- Investigate
the RGB system for replicating colors and
- Use
trigonometric functions to program a sequence of color changes
.
The activity uses the RGB
Color Mixer.and a TI-84 family calculator. (Because it uses
the calculator's internal clock, the program is not fully functional
with TI-83 family calculators.)
. It is also available for Windows-based computers. The computer
version requires that you have the LabVIEW Run-time engine installed,
but it can run using an on-screen display with no additional hardware.
For full functionality (including operation of the RGB
Color Mixer and the possibility of input from sensors) you
must also have a SensorDAQ installed on your computer. |
