Students:
- model
a real motion as a set of simple motions, determining average
speed, instantaneous speed and acceleration for each
segment
- use
graphs and data about past motions to predict how the
object will move under different conditions
- apply
their understanding to control motion, programming the vehicle
to stop at arbitrary locations
The
activity uses the Basic
Switch and
either the original CBL, the CBL2, or a LabPro.
With the addition of an appropriate
relay, the Binary
Basic Trainer or the Motor
Controller can substitute
for the Basic Switch.
